Richa Mehta is a non-litigating lawyer with ample of experience in the field of Revenue & Land Laws related matters. She has expertise on the newly enacted The Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act (RERA) and have also handled matters relating to that.
She has also taught law to aspiring business managers at premier Institutes. Other than Land Laws, her area of specialization includes Contract Law, Private International Law, Inter-country Child Adoption & legalities, International Business Dispute Resolution, World Trade Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Technology Transfer, Conflict Management in Economics and Human Rights. On completion of her doctorate degree she was called upon as Visiting Professor at Indian Institute of Management -Ahmedabad, Amrut Mody (Ahmedabad Education Society) & Gujarat Law School. Prior to joining IIM-A she was teaching law at a premier Law School, NLU, Jodhpur.
Richa Mehta belongs to a reputed family of lawyers, Judges & Civil Servants. Her father Justice N.N.Mathur is former judge of Rajasthan High Court & former Vice Chancellor of National Law University, Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Her father in law M.M.Mehta is former Commissioner of Police Ahmedabad & her husband is practicing lawyer in Gujarat High Court.
